You should be a highly motivated self-starter who is comfortable in a small business environment. You also can’t wait to come up with fresh ideas and implement creative marketing initiatives that will help the business grow and get a leg up on our competitors.In this role, the Digital Content Marketing Specialist will be responsible for creating, optimizing, and managing digital content across various platforms for our clients and the agency with a very strong focus on the following:Designing and creating eye-catching visual content (graphics, images, and social video)Collaborating with our SEO specialist to implement best SEO practicesContent calendar and social media managementAnalyzing performance metrics to ensure the content aligns with brand voice and strategiesDesire to learn content strategy and support our team in developing strategies for clientsThis is NOT a copywriting role – but if you have writing skills – that’s a HUGE added bonus!This is a remote position; however, candidates must be based in Miami-Dade or Broward County and willing to attend in-person client and/or agency events. Candidates must have availability Monday – Friday during core business hours (9 AM – 6 PM ET) with some evening or weekend work to accommodate client events or project deadlines. Some travel will be required.About YouYou are a key hire, which means we’re expecting you can walk the walk and have the craft to back it up. You’ve got graphic design chops, you’re a wiz at turning ordinary visuals into extraordinary narratives, your Canva graphics look like an original design, and you are committed to a top-notch client experience.You have a natural sense of curiosity— continuously staying up to date on latest trends in social media. You have a strong understanding of visual storytelling and the ability to align content with the brand’s goals and desired outcomes. You also know how to manage your time, work independently, are dependable, know how to anticipate needs, and you value open communication and consistent feedback.Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):Content Capture:Provide real-time social coverage by capturing photos, videos, interviews, and behind-the-scenes footage.Attend and capture footage at local South Florida client and agency events, utilizing insights from strategy development to inform content creation and storytelling.Content Creation:Plan and execute on digital strategy in coordination with our Creative Director.Develop high-quality engaging graphics, animations, and social media videos for websites, blogs, social media, email campaigns, and other digital platforms using tools like Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.Source images and b-roll for graphics and video creation.Repurpose existing content for various formats and platforms to maximize reach and engagement.Implement brand and messaging guidelines across digital and print campaigns.Social Media Management:Design and/or edit social media posts to drive engagement and build the brand’s online presence.Publish and/or schedule content to social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Youtube, etc.)Engage with followers, respond to comments, and manage social media interactions.Maintain client social media accounts by creating and updating Instagram highlights, cover and profile photos and banners.Keep all deliverables on track throughout the project lifecycle by documenting, communicating, managing, and driving accountability through marketing operations processes.Content Management:Manage and update website content using CMS tools to ensure it is current, accurate, and visually appealing.Maintain a content calendar to ensure timely publication and coordination with marketing campaigns.Design, schedule, and publish blogs, videos, events, and other updates to client websites (WordPress, Squarespace, etc.)Design, schedule, and send email blasts using various platforms (FloDesk, Mailchimp)Manage, update, organize agency content so they are easily accessible on an ongoing basis.Analytics and Reporting:Monitor and analyze the performance of digital content using analytics tools.Track (KPIs) for email, website, and social media performance such as engagement, impressions and conversion rates. Design analytics reports.Use data insights to suggest adjustments to content creation and strategies.Cross-functionally communicate with the marketing team to ensure projects are created, routed, reviewed, and completed on time.Work closely with the CEO, marketing team, copywriters, website and SEO specialist, and other stakeholders to ensure content aligns with overall marketing goals and brand guidelines.Contribute to the development of creative concepts through brainstorming and other idea-generating team sessions.Attend marketing meetings and client management meetings.Systems We Use:Airtable, Slack, Zoom, Sprout Social, Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, GSuite, Zapier, Keap, WordPress, Flodesk, Final Cut Pro, Pipedrive, Fireflies, and more!Systems Our Clients Use:All of the above plus Squarespace, Mailchimp, ConvertKit, Dropbox, Vimeo.Candidates must have experience with: Content marketing best practices, video content, social media content and related management softwares, social media analytics, Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, Google Analytics, WordPress (CMS), YouTube, and MailChimp/Flodesk.Preferred experience with SEO, Google Analytics, Airtable, and automation tools.Ability to create eye-catching and error-free content.Ability to develop creative designs, repurpose content, and contribute content ideas.Punctual, proactive and dependable with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.Ability to analyze content performance data and make data-driven decisions.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Comfortable working with various stakeholders at large organizations and nonprofits.Uses good judgment and works with integrity.Works independently and quickly, but not at the expense of accuracy.
