Position Overview:

As the Sr. Director of Product & Technical Communications, you will lead the development of client-facing technical documentation and communications that effectively convey the value proposition and technical aspects of i2c’s products and services. This role requires a leader with a deep understanding of modern technical documentation platforms; strong communication skills; a love for delivering training to clients and internal stakeholders; and a vision for enhancing the tools and processes that bring i2c’s products to life for our clients.Key Responsibilities:Product Communication:

Lead a team charged with the creation of product documentation, technical user guides, and training materials that clearly articulate the features, benefits, and technical specifications of i2c’s offerings.Support the delivery of RFI and RFP response content to articulate the capabilities of i2c’s platform and new features.Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency, scope, consistency, and thoroughness of the product and technical documentation i2c publishes for clients and internal stakeholders.

Product Development:

Complete the delivery and manage ongoing enhancement of our new developer documentation and content management portals.Lead product development efforts to enhance our documentation portals with new capabilities, such as language translation and integration of content into other client-facing i2c portals.Demonstrated ability to develop quantitative measures to show continued growth of documentation availability, quality, usage, and client/user impact.

Lead and grow an existing team of high-performing technical writers, product managers, and client training experts.Drive a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and client-first focus.We are looking for

Experience:

10-12+ years of experience, including 8+ writing technical documentationSkills

Qualifications:10-12+ years of experience, including 8+ writing technical documentation and leading teams charged with producing and delivering technical documentation, with particular emphasis on APIs, product enhancement/release notes, and B2B web software user manuals.Experience developing and delivering client or internal training programs (webinars, in-person training sessions) focused on explaining product capabilities and features.Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage cross-functional teams.
