As a UX/UI Design engineer, you'll collaborate closely with a diverse team of business and technology partners to create intuitive user experiences for our fraud prevention platforms.We're looking for a seasoned UX Designer with varied backgrounds and experiences who is passionate about leveraging technology to solve complex challenges. Essential FunctionsAs a Staff UX Designer, you will help design, enhance, and build user experiences for next generation fraud detection platforms and beyond in an agile development environment.

Work with a diverse team of product owners, UI developers, and other stakeholders in a fast-paced environment, with quick iterative cycles.

Keep up to date with the latest trends in UX design and introduce them into projects when appropriate.

Promoting UX design standards and Accessibility for mobile and web.

Field inquiries and requests for support from partners.

Responsibilities include UX analysis and creation of conceptual approach.

Collaborate with UI developers to ensure that design specifications are implemented correctly and meet security and best practices.

Set UX design standards and best practices for the teams' deliverables.

Analyze existing software for Usability and Accessibility issues and provide recommendations for improvement.

Evaluate options and provide recommendation on scope and scale of effort required to implement final requirements.

Identify opportunities for future enhancements and refinements to standards, best practices, and development methodologies.

Participate and lead design review sessions as appropriate to ensure the quality of work delivered by self and teammates are in accordance with design standards.

Collaborate with business partners on requirements elaboration, design, configuration, and business re-engineering.

Present UX solutions, capabilities, considerations, and features in business terms. Effectively communicate status, issues, and risks in a precise and timely manner.

Basic understanding and knowledge in building engaging web applications with HTML/CSS/JavaScript/TypeScript/React/Angular.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.Visa is not offering relocation assistance for this role.Qualifications Basic Qualifications:

* 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

* 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD

* Proficiency in UX design techniques and principles involved in the production of conceptual prototypes, wireframes, and web prototypes

* Expertise in analyzing written requirements and visually conceptualizing the user interface and application flows

* Experience in Adobe suite, Figma, Sketch or other Ui/UX design tools

* Hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript UI frameworks such as Angular and/or React would be an added advantage

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving abilities, customer service skills, and interpersonal communication

* Ability to work autonomously and manage personal workload effectively

* Experience in agile development incorporating Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery

* Ability to present intricate ideas in a clear, concise manner

* Highly motivated, resourceful and results-oriented

* Proven ability to navigate through uncertainty

* Systematic with a passion for deep research and attention to detail

* Strong work ethics, and a team player committed to achieving the best results as a team
