The Expressions Design team elevates our digital experiences by activating all senses including sound, visuals, motion, touch, and haptics; and is driven to improve inclusion and create a meaningful, emotional connection between customers and our products.Key Job Responsibilities You will be hands on, working alongside a talented team of like-minded visual designers, and have a strong understanding of visual systems and best practices, including layout, color palette, typography, iconography and illustrations. You are at ease visualizing an experience in the abstract, building consensus, and then driving that vision into concise design deliverables. As a tastemaker and visual storyteller, you will advocate for design excellence and help create meaningful, emotional connection between customers and our products.About the Team The Amazon Device and Services Design Group (DDG) is a multidisciplinary design team that is responsible for the CX and UX across the Echo family of devices, Fire TV, Fire Tablets, Alexa Mobile and more. DDG’s mission is to conceptualize and bring to life delightful, easy-to-use, and high value experiences for our customers.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of design experienceHave an available online portfolio3+ years of delivering design solutions as a UX designer or interaction designerVisual design expertise demonstrated through mockups and style guidesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years of mass-market consumer web / mobile products experienceExperience working in a collaborative team and working directly with developers for implementation of designsAn exceptional portfolio that demonstrates visual craft, vision storytelling, and design systems thinking.Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
