The focus of this position will be in developing innovative algorithms to power various aspects of highly sophisticated global marketing campaigns.We participate in multifaceted and driven auctions in travel for Metasearch sites, Paid Search, and Social Media. We are solving a range of fundamental problems with varying levels of complexity. If you have a passion for the craft of statistics, optimization, control, and machine learning, you will help unlock tangible growth for our business by exploiting these data sets!What you’ll do:Develop scalable algorithms for bidding, content optimization, segmentation, and capital allocation.Provide technical leadership, identify key business challenges and opportunities, and develop end-to-end software solutions using statistics, machine learning, optimization, and control methods.Innovate and add complexity where complexity is needed.Assess the validity of assumptions and hypotheses through experiments.Collaborate with partners to ensure that solutions meet business needs by generating valid and feasible inferences.Who you are:PhD in Computer Science or related technical field; or equivalent related professional experience.Strong algorithm design and object-oriented programming skills in at least one of major programming languages like Java, C/C++, Python.A minimum of 3 years validated experience working with real data.Strong interpersonal skills, both written and oral communication.The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $137,500.00 to $192,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $220,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience.
