This position may be located at our campus in Linthicum, MD; Rolling Meadows, IL; OR Falls Church, VA.In this role, the selected candidate will:Partner in the development of strategic communications plans for the Mission Systems Sector.Conceptualize and execute on multichannel campaigns, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging in all channels to amplify strategic priorities and programs.Provide strategic direction for executive communications activities to include thought leadership and external engagements.Create engaging and informative content for sector priority campaigns including website, video, social media, and any other content marketing channels that the business might leverage.Work alongside the programs, strategy and growth operations team to ensure alignment of priorities, messages, and support of business objectives.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Business or other liberal arts field, and experience in communications, media, marketing, and/or public relations, or a related discipline with a minimum of 9 years of communications experience in an enterprise organization. -OR-Master’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Business or other liberal arts field, and experience in communications, media, marketing, and/or public relations, or a related discipline with a minimum of 7 years of communications experience in an enterprise organizationProven track record of developing, executing and tracking integrated communications campaigns and strategy within large, complex organizations.Demonstrated willingness to take calculated risks and explore new approaches to connect with audiences, with strong judgement and agility.Excellent project management, collaboration, presentation and writing skills.Ability to obtain a government security clearance.  U.S. Citizenship is a pre-requisite.Must be able to travel as needed (up to 10% of the time)Preferred Qualifications:Aerospace and defense industry experience, and familiarity with DoD and global government customers.Salary Range: $119,800.00 - $188,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
