About This Role:

Role Overview:

The person in this role will support the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD) Public Affairs Office.

Responsibilities:

Assist the government Visual Information (VI) team lead in planning, organizing, and administering the visual information program.

Assist with the identification, distribution, and re-balancing visual information workload and tasks among team members in accordance with established workflow, skill level and/or occupational specialization.

Lead teams developing and implementing design concepts for critical, complex projects.

Collaborate with others to identify communication objectives.

Monitor and report on the status and progress of visual information work.

The "Need-to-Have" Skills & Qualifications:

Critical thinker with strong analytical skills.

Experience providing visual arts/media production methods and techniques guidance to leadership and other visual arts specialists.

Experience developing original designs, concepts or visual styles for information/education/training presentation materials, publications and exhibits.

Creative and motivated.

Great attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Advanced MS Office skills (specifically Excel).

Excellent verbal and communication skills.
