We are looking for a Senior Designer in Culinary - Meat.A Senior Designer exhibits independent application and project planning ability, seamlessly integrating creativity, innovation, and presentation skills to provide best in class support to IFF clients. The Senior Designer clearly displays strong finished product knowledge with excellent problem-solving abilities.Responsibilities

Prioritize and develop work-plans to manage work for total project of moderate scope. Provide technical guidance on unusual or complex problems.Develop and conduct experiments for a variety of projects and activities to be carried out individually or by others.Create value-added solutions for the meat industry leveraging IFF portfolio and build strong technical credibility with customers.Experience with meat manufacturing processes and industry best practices.Keep up-to-date on trends, new technical developments and competitor's activities by monitoring applications for processing systems and ingredients.Provide technical services to Customers, Sales and Divisions as needed (plant trials, troubleshooting, and training).Implement and adhere to IFF core values and safety initiatives.May develop or assist with development of new product and application literature, including technical reports, invention disclosures and patents.Maintain appropriate documentation for experiments, GMPs, FSMA, Bioterrorism and others as required.Job Requirements

Minimum 10 years working experience in industrial food, ingredient, or flavor industry plus a minimum of 5 years in the specific field of expertise (Meat Industry).2-3 years experience as a leader in interdepartmental cross-functional team roles.Minimum entry level is a University/College Degree in Meat/Food Science and Technology or related disciplines (such as Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Biology).Preferred Master's Degree and/or PhD in related area.Strong communication (verbal and written), organizational and interpersonal skills are necessary.Working Conditions

This position is considered an Anchor and requires working in the lab/pilot plant for 5 days/week.
