Multi-tasking and attention to detail must be strengths this individual possesses. Individuals need to be comfortable to present and speak in front of staff and peers during in-person training.Why work for Woodcraft Rangers:Sick timeLifecraftUpward MobilityCareer developmentThe opportunity to create a lasting positive impact on youth within your communityJob Summary:The Club Leader position is an on-site position, including attending training at the Woodcraft Rangers main office in Little Tokyo and school sites.The Club Leader will:Plan and implement engaging and enriching activities for club participantsDevelop and implement program activities according to program goals and monthly themesRecruit and maintain program participants from school community (20:1 student to staff ratio)Ensure students are in a safe environment (physical and emotional) at all timesDevelop positive relationships with youth in their program, parents, and school staffMaintain and submit daily student attendance rostersSubmit lesson plans of program activities for each session in advanceDevelop and implement “end of session” performances or displays. WR activity catalog that supports the social and emotional growth of studentsParticipate in staff development training as required, approximately 20 hours/yearOther related duties as assignedRequirements:Knowledge and experience working in expanded learning programs or youth recreational facilitiesMinimum High School Diploma or GED (AA Degree in Child Development or a related field preferred); prior experience working with groups of K-12 students in an academic or recreational setting preferredWork well with young children and/or youthGood oral and written communicationComputer literacy and willingness to learnValid LIVE Scan, TB Clearance, and CPR CertificationWoodcraft Rangers will require proof of vaccination for ALL employees providing any in-person work with staff or clientsAll employees must submit a negative COVID-19 test result before their first date of employmentPhysical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. $21.00 - 24.15Schedule:

Monday through Friday 15 - 30 hours/week, 6:30 am-8:30 am (before school) and or 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM (after school) (hours vary per location)
