### Position OverviewWe are looking for a dynamic individual to lead our operations team and manage a comprehensive profit center in the telecommunications construction sector. This role involves developing and executing strategies aligned with business objectives, while overseeing critical areas such as safety, people management, customer relations, and financial performance. Candidates should possess extensive experience in telecommunications construction operations and demonstrate a strong track record in profit and loss (P&L) management.### Compensation- **Salary**: Starting at $160,000 per year- **Bonus**: Additional performance-based bonus available### Key Responsibilities**Leadership and Management**- Drive success across safety, people management, financial performance, and customer satisfaction.- Manage Senior Operations Managers by focusing on their performance, compensation, quality, and safety.**Operational Performance**- Ensure adherence to project management standards, including safety, customer management, production, financials, and timely delivery.**Financial Oversight**- Oversee financial aspects of projects including Work in Progress (WIP), job cost reviews, cash flow, expenses, and profit/loss management.**Strategic Development**- Provide strategic guidance to support profit and loss impacts and decision-making processes.- Develop and communicate strategic plans and scorecards to drive team and financial growth.**Customer Relations and Safety Culture**- Cultivate and manage existing and new customer relationships with a clear focus on customer satisfaction.- Promote a strong safety culture, leading by example to maintain zero tolerance for safety breaches.**Cultural and Team Engagement**- Champion company culture initiatives including community engagement, wellness, development, and inclusion.- Lead team development efforts focusing on performance management and compensation strategies.### Success Factors- **Travel**: Willingness to travel nationwide as required.- **Safety Commitment**: Strong belief in maintaining a safe work environment.- **Alignment**: Commitment to the organizational mission, vision, and values.- **Work Ethic**: Demonstrated strong work ethic and commitment to achieving results.- **Customer Focus**: High level of customer centricity.- **Team Leadership**: Proven ability to build relationships and effectively lead teams.- **Adaptability**: Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.- **Time Management**: Excellent skills in time management and prioritization.- **Motivation**: Self-motivated and goal-oriented.- **Organizational Skills**: Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.- **Communication**: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.- **Strategic Thinking**: Strong business insight combined with strategic and forward-thinking capabilities.- **Technical Proficiency**: Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and various project management tools and ERP systems.### Work Environment- Typically works in a temperature-controlled environment with occasional exposure to dust and debris in a warehouse setting.- Requires the use of safety equipment on-site, including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, hard hats, and safety boots.### Experience and Education- **Experience**: Minimum of 10 years in utility construction, specifically in wireline installations within the telecommunications industry.- **Leadership**: At least 6 years of business leadership experience with full P&L responsibility.- **Education**: High School Diploma or equivalent is required.Employment Type: Full-Time
