Editor

to lead its

Windows section . In this role, you will be overseeing all Windows content for the site and contributing to the creation pipeline.

Our Windows section teaches readers how to best make use of Windows by unraveling complexity, solving common problems, and fostering appreciation for the platform.

Responsibilities

Responsible for editing, fact-checking, and providing feedback on articles to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to editorial guidelines.Monitor the article schedule using tools such as Asana or our in-house CMS to ensure that publication targets are met.Review (and assist in crafting) pitches to the Windows section for quality and suitability.Contribute to the development of SEO researched ideas, and generate Windows topics for the writer base.Review and assess due dates associated with tasks.Self-publish to the section (or other sections on the site) to meet the writing quota.Expected to be present and engaged in required meetings.What We're Looking For

Experience in writing and editing for an online tech publication.Expert knowledge of everything Windows.First-hand experience with the Windows system (must have Windows 10/11 with the expectation of updating to the latest version ASAP after it's made available).Be highly organized with great time management skills.Possess proficient communication skills with remote teams.Application Requirements
