Job DescriptionPMT Publishing, the publisher of Business Alabama, is seeking a dynamic advertising salesperson to join their team. Business Alabama is a monthly statewide business magazine that highlights and tracks the business climate in Alabama, complemented by a range of digital products including its website and daily newsletter.
What we’re looking for:
A motivated salesperson who is driven by the desire to amplify the messages of local, statewide and regional entities to a top-level audience of decision-makers and influencers.
We are seeking an individual with expertise in both print and digital advertising, understanding the cooperative benefits each platform offers.
Someone who excels both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong initiative and a commitment to fostering customer relationships.
Required skills:
Time management.
High level of people and social skills.
Mid-level to expert knowledge of computers and computer platforms.
Experience in advertising and media sales is preferred. Knowledge of the Alabama business landscape is a plus. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about promoting business growth through effective advertising solutions, we encourage you to apply.
This is a full-time, outside sales position (half-days on Fridays), based in Birmingham, Alabama. Some in-state travel required. Salary is base plus commission. Benefits include health insurance and paid vacation/sick days.
