Join us as we digitally connect the world and shape the future.The RoleWe are looking for an experienced Media Relations Senior Manager who can drive the company's reputation and visibility in the innovation and technology space.LocationThis is a remote opportunity open to candidates located anywhere in the U.S.The Main ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute strategic media relations plans to promote the company's products, services, and thought leadership in the technology sector.Build and maintain strong relationships with key reporters, editors, influencers, and analysts who cover innovation and technology topics.Pitch and secure positive media coverage across a variety of channels, including print, online, broadcast, and social media.Prepare and coach spokespeople for media interviews, events, and speaking opportunities.Monitor and analyze media trends, issues, and opportunities in the technology sector and provide insights and recommendations to senior management and internal stakeholders.Manage media relations resources and vendors.What We Look For in a CandidateBachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or related field.At least nine years of experience in media relations, preferably in the technology sector or with technology clients.Proven track record of securing high-impact media coverage and building strong media relationships.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling stories and messages for different audiences and platforms.Strong knowledge of the technology industry, trends, and issues, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and engaging narratives.Creative, proactive, and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.CompensationThe starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location.
