Grand Opening Marketing ManagerAbout the position:Because of our overwhelming success and rapid expansion, we are looking for an additional Marketing Manager to join our team. This experienced professional will own the development and execution of Grand Opening marketing campaigns, assets, materials, strategy, and more. Get ready to emBARK with us on a fantastic adventure of growth!The Grand Opening Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing and continuing to develop the brand’s Grand Opening activities to create awareness, engagement, and preference for K9 Resorts. Also central to this role is the definition, coordination, and ownership of marketing materials creation (print, digital, social, promotional) and the evolution of our marketing automation system. You will know how to sniff out the best local marketing methods and organize them in an easily accessible way!Success in this position is achieved by learning the K9 Resorts brand inside and out, forming relationships with existing vendors, franchise owners, and team members, becoming intimate with internal systems, and defining, maintaining, and driving a Grand Opening support schedule beginning within 30 days of starting. Success through the first four quarters would be measured by Grand Opening ramp, local marketing ROI, and a high level of support for new franchise owners.Primary ResponsibilitiesPrimary marketing contact for all new, Grand Opening locations during their ramp up to opening, plus one year after opening (pre-launch, launch, and post-launch strategy and marketing activities)Facilitate and create meaningful relationships with franchise owners to support and teach best marketing efforts at the local levelIncludes oversight for developing local marketing plans to affect resort performance, including understanding local consumer behavior, media, pricing, and competitive trendsResponsible for assisting and implementing Grand Opening plans and strategy with each opening locationAdhering to marketing budget recommendations and providing insightsKeeping detailed and highly organized information for several resorts at any given time, in various stages of developmentLead the coordination of grand opening processes for K9 Resorts with foundational tools created; suggest and create additional tools for Grand Opening process if neededProof all third-party marketing materials are compliant with K9 Resorts Brand Guidelines prior to approving for use in the local marketSupport the Marketing Department to work directly with existing franchisees and build strong relationships, ensuring local area marketing is successful and providing the tools necessary for local marketing success (Focus: pre-opening + 1 year after opening)Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly reporting, including key marketing performance indicators, tracking, and testing data sent to key stakeholdersResponsible for ensuring all Grand Opening locations are on track with marketing initiatives and metrics at various stages of construction and for one year after openingResponsible for supporting opening resorts to ensure sales goals are known and being metMay manage (at least) one future direct reportOther duties as assignedTravel percentage: up to 50% visiting new locations (will vary based on Grand Opening dates)Current Benefits:• Salary: 80k/year• Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance available• PTO• Well-stocked snack closetFuture Benefits (when offices move end of 2024/early 2025):• Free fitness center & beautiful amenities on site• Access to various foods in delicious cafeteria• Close to major highways for easy accessQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.Minimum of 6 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on new store openings, campaign management, and brand development.Ability to consistently meet deadlines while managing multiple projects concurrently.Perfectionist with details so the brand values are reflected flawlessly in all customer-facing materials.Proven track record of successfully launching and marketing new products, services, or locations.Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex ideas effectively to diverse audiences.Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and techniques for measuring and optimizing campaign performance.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build positive relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and external partners.Experience in the service industry or related field is a plus.Experience in the franchise space a plus.Customer Success experience a plus.Can Do Attitude.Must love dogs!Please note that this position is currently located in Fanwood, NJ. As we grow, we are planning on moving offices to Berkley Heights later in the year 2024. This position is not currently a remote position and is required to be in office 5 days a week, 9:00am – 5:30pm.
