The Marketing Communications and Business Development Director plays an integral role in directing the firm’s marketing and business development efforts. The position will work closely with the Owner and Executive Director on a variety of firmwide initiatives with exposure to all facets of legal marketing.

This is a remote, part-time position estimated at 20-25 hours per week.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Facilitate strategic planning for all marketing communications and business development efforts by the firmTrack and measure the firm’s marketing endeavors and dollars to capitalize on the return of investmentComplete periodic competitive landscape monitoring and analysis to ensure the firm maintains a competitive advantage in the marketDirect the implementation of the firm’s marketing effortsDesign and develop the firm’s social media campaign to post content, engage with users, and manage the firm’s brand, while adhering to the ethical rules associated with law firm marketingManage the firm’s website for content to make sure all information is accurate, easy to find, and strengthens the firm’s online presenceWrite and proofread various content for the firm, including press releases, advertisements, articles, blog posts, and other content as neededMotivate the employees of the firm to engage in the community and firm marketing efforts to increase the firm’s presence in the communityAssist firm attorneys and presenters with PowerPoints, presentation skills, and feedback for all seminars and speaking engagementsCommunicate with the firm’s departments to see where the marketing efforts should be targetedUtilize creative and technical writing to promote services and eventsAssist with special event planning for the firm’s marketing efforts, including guest list, presenter recruitment, invitations, advertisements, catering, presentation materials, interactions with guests, feedback from the event, and post-event follow-upHandle database management for the firm using InfusionSoft and Clio GrowDevelop and oversee the firm’s social media accountsAssist with referral source connections by conducting outreach events and meetings, providing firm information, and ensuring mutual client satisfactionResearch and stay informed on new marketing trends for the legal fieldAssist with special projects, as assignedQualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field4-5 years experience in marketing position guiding advertising and sales directionExperience working with various contracts for digital and graphic services preferredAdvanced knowledge and comfortability with technology and ability to learn new softwareDiverse experience and skills to communicate with a fully remote staffAdvanced writing experience for both digital and print servicesAbout O'Connell Law :
