The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, a renowned international affairs institution with global operations, is seeking an Email and Marketing Manager to help manage email marketing activities in Washington with its DC-based communications team. This position reports to the Communications Director.

The Email and Marketing Manager will be responsible for independently managing email marketing activities, coordinating digital marketing and promotional activities, and advising and consulting internally with Carnegie staff. Duties will include maintaining the campaign calendar; overseeing subscriber lists; editing campaign copies; executing campaigns; maintaining a promotional ad campaign calendar; managing ad budgets; maintaining synergy across email and promotional content; working with Carnegie's Web team; working with the events team; advising Carnegie scholars on the best way to engage their audience via email; supporting Carnegie staff who use the email marketing platform; and supporting the annual report process.

The position requires 3-4 years of relevant email marketing or digital marketing experience. The selected candidate will have demonstrated skill writing and editing marketing/promotional copies. Foreign policy and/or think tank experience is a big plus. Experience with Marketo Engage is a plus. Basic understanding of HTML is essential.

Located in Dupont Circle, we offer an outstanding benefits package including health insurance benefits. This is not a virtual position. Carnegie employees are required to work in the office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and can work from home Mondays and Fridays.
