You must demonstrate the ability to efficiently drive multiple projects throughout all phases of design, permitting and construction administration. Creates the design strategy and concepts for retail grocery storesWorking with key internal and external stakeholders in the production of comprehensive design development package and documents as needed to communicate designCoordinating with construction team on budget considerations and value engineering effortsCommunicating with cross-functional teams and senior leadershipDriving and creating Schematic Design PackagesReviewing construction documents, shop drawings and landlord documentationProviding Construction Administrative support as neededA day in the life

Our retail store formats are designed from the ground up to offer a seamless shopping experience, whether customers are shopping in-store or online. Our designs are customer obsessed, focusing on customers shopping in our stores and ensures that our operations team can work safely and efficiently.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in architecture or interior design5+ years of commercial retail design and/or industrial designAbility to manage change through multiple projects in various phases of designExperience with design development, construction documents, permitting and construction administrationProven track record of owning projects from start to finishReVit skills requiredPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Grocery experience strongly preferredProven ability to deliver a bold vision and iterate quickly on conceptsPassion for learning and innovation, balanced with business needs and customer expectationsSketchUp, Bluebeam, Enscape, InDesign and Photoshop experience a plusAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
