Job Description

The Field Marketing Manager will be responsible for representing and executing all in-market initiatives on behalf of Pleasantrees and Emerald Growth Partners’ house of brands. This individual will work cross-departmentally with teams including, but not limited to: marketing, creative and wholesale.

In this role, the Field Marketing Manager will be responsible for executing brand trainings, activations and strategic partnerships. From assisting brand/product launches to developing community engagement programs, the Field Marketing Manager will be a crucial part of activating within our communities that we operate within.

Responsibilities

Represent and execute all in-market initiatives on behalf of Pleasantrees and Emerald Growth Partners’ house of brands in a positive and professional manner

Manage and train a team of brand ambassadors across the state of Michigan to leverage for executing brand educations and brand activations that support larger marketing initiatives.

Identify local marketing and partnership opportunities acting as a lead generation conduit to share and vet activations on an ongoing basis.

Build and execute targeted programs that foster education within the cannabis industry, showcases our best-in-class brands and promote Pleasantrees’ products by implementing unique and engaging initiatives.

Train and educate current and prospective cannabis retailers on Emerald Brands’ portfolio of cannabis brands across beverage and CPG.

Activate brand experiences (programs, takeovers and events) with wholesale partners in-store as well as in the community.

Recognize and maintain visual and digital merchandising opportunities with accounts for dominant product placements and display and retail locations.

Assist the wholesale team by sharing retailer feedback, inventory updates as well as promotional suggestions to improve sell-through.

Ensure all partner retailers have an in-depth understanding and knowledge of the full Emerald Brands portfolio given ongoing budtender employment changes.

Own all communication and scheduling of vendor days as well as providing leadership with performance reports that analyze ROI.

Manage and monitor all brands merchandising, physical assets, swag, etc. ensuring proper utilization and deployment via BAs/Sales Reps, and alerting leaders when inventory needs arise.

Provide wholesale customers with samples, marketing materials, POS merchandise, budtender education, merch and other promotional and/or sales tools.

Visit and introduce EGP brands to potential new wholesale partners and follow up with in-person check points to current wholesale accounts via ride-along as necessary.

Maintain an ongoing knowledge of product offerings, features, and benefits, CRA rules and regulations, MMFLA & MRTMA, as well as local competitors and brands.

Experience Requirements

College degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field required

3+ years of experience in a fast-paced guest-centric environment

3+ years' experience in marketing, promotions or event planning/management or related consume-focused field

Must have reliable transportation with clean driving record

Flexible schedule with the ability to travel to various locations (including but not limited to evening and weekend hours when necessary)

Minimum of 21 years of age

Must pass criminal background check and drug screening (excludes THC)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
