Denison, TX·Full timeAccelerate Wound Care is seeking a Clinical Coordinator who brings administrative expertise and meticulous organization skills to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care. Bonus points for applicants with marketing and/or medical billing experience. Monday – Friday, no weekends or major holidays.Description

Clinical Coordinator TasksOverseeing day-to-day administrative activities for the healthcare group.Prepares patient profiles and schedules for next business day including printing, highlighting needed information and organizing by provider.Schedule nurses in a manner that balances regional demand for services with appropriate numbers of providers per region.Monitor and audit nurse charting data to ensure accuracy and timeline compliance to minimize delayed charting impact on AR; monitor average timing of chart entries by each provider.Ensures all related chart information is current and documentation needed is available.Scan and file documents into electronic patient records such as hand completed forms.Communicate medical results to patients under clinical supervision.Office Administration TasksPerforms medical reception/clerical duties as needed including answering telephones, screening calls, taking messages, pulling patient information, copying, faxing and filing.Answer incoming calls to triage and schedule appointments for therapy services and/or take complete and accurate messages. Ensures that related follow-up work is completed timely, (same day or by next day) including relaying messages to clinical staff to return calls.Ensures facility’s office supplies and clinical/medical supply inventory is current and replenished as needed.Route checks weekly to the Oklahoma office for deposit – receive, verify and notify accounting.Serve as clinical liaison for the North Texas region, scheduling and completing onsite visits with facilities, compiling surveys, and providing updates to the Director of Operations.Support planning onsite visits for Chief Medical Officer with development/marketing team to support positive brand image.Attend and contribute to departmental meetings.Such other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Company.Knowledge/Skills & AbilitiesProven work experience as a Clinical Coordinator or similar roleInnovative thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skillsMeticulous attention to detail with the ability to multitaskStrong organizational, administrative and planning skillsExpertise in working under pressure and reacting effectively to emergency situationsAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamExperience with Google Workspace and Microsoft SuiteRelevant training and/or certifications as a Clinical CoordinatorFamiliarity with medical practices terminologyAbility to communicate effectively with patients, clinical and administrative staff, and the publicAbility to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and policies and proceduresEducation & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred - 2 years of relevant experience required.Minimum 1-2 years Administrative Assistant/Medical Office preferred as well as relevant work experience in marketing or sales preferred.Medical billing experience preferred.Experience creating and maintaining scheduling for multiple people preferred.Ability to multi-task and change direction midstream.Clinical certifications (i.e. RMA, CMA or LPN) beneficial.Background and drug screen.CompensationAlong with competitive pay you will be eligible for the following benefits:PTO offering with Paid HolidaysMonthly PayIncentive Pay/Bonus StructureAffirmative Action/EEO statementAccelerate Wound Care is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
