Apparel Assistant Graphic Designer

Creative/DesignCity of Industry, CaliforniaSupports the development of graphic department styles and assists in implementing and creating technical packages.WHAT YOU'LL DO:Completes silhouette sketching (tops, sweaters, bottoms, jackets, dresses, intimates) and detailed technical sketches.Coordinates layout artwork pages.Creates, organizes and updates reference libraries (fabrics, tech packs, development samples).Assists Designers and Design Director in daily design processes.Organizes visual boards.WHAT YOU'LL NEED:1-2 years of design experience including technical knowledge.Strong computer skills including Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.Hand sketching experience preferred.Able to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.Strong organizational and time management skills.Excellent sense of urgency and consistency.Dedication to meeting requirements of internal and external customers, responding to all customer requests promptly and thoroughly.Strong communication skills, including the ability to work in a team environment, give honest, direct feedback, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize appropriately, cope well with change, and maintain composure under pressure.WHAT YOU'LL GET:Hourly Rate: $21.51/hr to $26.31/hr.
