The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Director, ID&E Business Solutions, Cox Communications,

to join our team. The incumbent must be in one of the following markets -

Atlanta, Georgia, San Diego, California, Phoenix, Arizona, Las Vegas, Nevada, New Orleans, Louisiana or Virginia Beach, Virginia .The Role:The Director, ID&E Business Solutions, Cox Communications is responsible for contributing to the powerful, impactful ID&E ecosystem at Cox by shaping the Cox Communications ID&E approach and goals, consulting with business leaders on best practices, and spearheading the development and execution of Cox Communications business-specific programs and strategies to attract, engage, develop and retain a diverse, talent workforce and drive a culture of inclusion that unlocks the potential of all team members across the organization.As the lead ID&E partner to Cox Communications, the Director leads the execution of a comprehensive ID&E strategy within the organization and provides strategic consultation and direction to the Cox Communications Inclusion & Diversity Councils and task forces, ensuring that the work of these critical groups is in alignment to overarching Cox ID&E strategy for maximum impact and relevancy. Additionally, this role is responsible for providing strategic business consultation and solutions to meet the unique needs of the Cox Communications business and workforce.The ideal candidate is a highly experienced ID&E practitioner, who has strong business acumen and experience operationalizing ID&E practices within a business and one who provides engaging, relevant solutions to a variety of stakeholders.Responsibilities:Designs and drives ID&E strategy and initiatives for Cox Communications, in alignment with the Cox ID&E strategy.

In partnership with executive leadership, manage and lead the strategic development and operations of Inclusion & Diversity Councils within Cox Communications. This includes but is not limited to administrative management, leading Council strategic initiatives, Council development, strategic programming and goal alignment and measurement.

Partner with People Analytics to build and analyze baseline and routine data with respect to Diversity and Inclusion for Cox Communications, monitoring for trends, causes, actionable insights to inform business action.

Provide strategic facilitation to Cox Communications ID&E task forces.

Consult with leaders to translate business strategy and objectives into attainable goals and plans that are aligned with Cox Communications and Cox Enterprises ID&E strategies.

Understand unique business/geographic challenges and needs to tailor initiatives to effectively enable the ID&E strategy across Cox Communications.

Ensure strategic alignment with key organizational partners including Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Talent Development and Cox Communications People Solutions teams for cohesive, optimized and impactful people solutions within Cox Communications and across the enterprise.

Serve as ID&E subject matter expert, working collaboratively with other areas of People Solutions to create tools and resources to support the adoption of practices and behaviors that enable a diverse and inclusive workforce.

Develop and manage industry-specific diversity partner relationships including Fair 360 and NOD.

Conduct research and best practices to bring new ideas into the organization.

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 10 years’ related experience. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and 8 years’ experience; a Ph.D. and 5 years’ experience in a related field; or 14 years’ experience in a related field.

5+ years’ experience in a management or leadership role.

5+ years of full-time ID&E experience.

Depth of understanding of core principles of Inclusion, Diversity & Equity including best practices and current trends to inform solutioning, consulting and delivering outputs of varying complexity.

Ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative data, assess risks, address partner concerns, balance business needs with inclusion and diversity best practices.

Proven success consulting across various client groups and providing tangible solutions varying in complexity. In depth understanding of solutioning from consultation to execution.

Advanced stakeholder management capability, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of the organization, in a matrixed environment.

Strong ability to influence, especially without formal authority, guiding towards positive outcomes.

Demonstrates courage in challenging opinions and driving change.

Ability to act as a business advisor using best practicesand strong consultation skills.

Operates with critical thinking and a solutions-oriented mindset.

Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment, leveraging creative problem solving and solutioning.

Excellent program and project management and coordination skills, ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines.

Acts with a strong sense of learning agility and a growth mindset.
