The Hult Prize Foundation inspires student entrepreneurs to solve the world’s biggest challenges through social entrepreneurship. Through our year-long, $1M student pitch competition, over 100,000 young people in 120 countries work to create high-impact startups that address the UN Sustainable Development Goals.Hult Prize is looking for a creative, resourceful video editor with an entrepreneurial spirit to join our Boston-based Marketing team. Through the production and editing of both short-form social media reels and highly-produced video, you’ll help develop content that gets students, experts and volunteers excited about changing the world through social entrepreneurship.Candidates should have proven expertise in working with user-generated content, motion graphics, sound design, music, coloring, and file management. While we don't need an expert cinematographer, this person would also be responsible for helping shoot smaller events and straightforward in-house videos as well.Sound like you? What you'll do:Act as an editor of Hult Prize media, primarily short-form videos that leverage user-generated content and social media trends to drive interest in participation or volunteering with Hult PrizeManage all aspects of the video editing process, including footage review, animation and motion graphics, sound design, music, color correction, and exportingProduce videos to required specifications for social media, including YouTube (and YouTube shorts), Facebook, Instagram (Reels), and TikTokAct as an advisor to Hult Prize Ambassadors and staff on best practices for filming usable, high-quality content themselvesProduce videos to required specifications for our websiteCreate short animations for our website, email, and social channelsManage relationships with vendors in the video space (i.e. stock footage, music, voiceovers)Organize and manage digital content and storage of video and photo assetsMonitor and share video and photography trends within pop culture for Gen Z and Millennial audienceAssist our partner production teams with raw edits, footage review and backupHelp capture footage of our smaller international events, in-office reels and training videos.Who you are:

2-4 years demonstrated professional experience in video editing and production (experience creating video content for Gen Z brands is a plus)Fluency in social media trends and formats, as well as digital ad formulasHighly efficient video editing workflow and knowledge of exporting best practicesAbility to translate both owned video and user-generated content into compelling brand storiesAbility to organize and keep track of large amounts of media across multiple sourcesKnowledge of copyright, image permissions, and fair use protocols for music and video resourcesExpert knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, AfterEffects, and Media Encoder with proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and IllustratorSkilled in animation and motion graphics, and comfortable partnering with designers to bring a vision to lifeA well-developed sense of humor and grace under pressureA love and passion for entrepreneurship, global diversity and social business.The ability to travel internationally a few times per year, including our UK-based accelerator for 4 weeks in August-SeptemberBonus points if you dabble in or have had some experience working with AIWhy you’ll love working here:Work in our North American headquarters where you’ll enjoy comprehensive professional development, frequent social programming and employee-run DEIB Resource Groups, and clubs.
