If you're hungry to build a varied and meaningful career in a community of brilliant and diverse minds to make a real difference, there's only one choice.Senior Manager, Integrated Strategic Communications YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES The primary responsibilities of this role, Senior Manager, Integrated Strategic Communications are to:This Senior Manager, Integrated Strategic Communications leads the development of integrated communications strategies and activations to support key Bayer U.S. external and internal topics. This position will help drive connectivity across Bayer locations across the U.S. aligning communications strategy and content across the sites to support business goals, as well as support key HQ activities for Whippany & St. Louis sites. The incumbent will help drive positive storytelling in site communities and proactively share site success stories across U.S. and support employee engagement efforts at the site level. The Senior Manager, Integrated Strategic Communications position will also help drive integrated communications efforts for key topics, including CSR and key sponsorships and partnerships, as well as actively contribute to the U.S. editorial process, this position will also help develop programs to support employee engagement.

Lead site communications community and work in partnership with site communicators to develop strategy to amplify local activities, drive employee engagement and build good will in the communities where we operate;Convene site communications community to connect and collaborate on opportunities to drive Bayer's reputation across the U.S;Develop and execute strategic plan for select partnerships and programs, including LAGRANT Foundation;Serve as the broader team's content creator for key CSR programs and other U.S. topics;Partner with U.S. Public Affairs, Sustainability and Science (PASS) Corp Engagement team on integrated comms to address giving topics and programming, amplify donations and other PASS programming as needed;Track, monitor and adjust strategic approaches using data and insights to drive to established KPIs;Support integrated strategic communications priorities as neededManage contractors and agencies to help drive programming and extend overall impact of communications programs as neededExecute local events as neededContribute to crisis management team as neededOther tasks and duties as assignedManage select U.S. communications assets, including Bayer U.S. presentations, corporate content on Bayer.US web site, Bayer.US ads, etc.WHO YOU ARE Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following: Required Qualifications:Excellence in creating compelling communications across multiple media; including written, spoken, visual and audio formats;Ability to use data/insights to drive excellent communications that achieve KPIs;Demonstrated ability to execute campaigns and work collaboratively and independently to achieve results;Ability to lead and work collaboratively across various organizational structures to achieve tangible results for the business;Winning mindset and desire to create bold communications;Self-starter with ability to anticipate and self direct work;Demonstrated ability in developing and managing budgetsProficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite of toolsPreferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with 10 years of overall experience in public relations, communications, journalism or related field or experience; media relations and content creation experience.This posting will be available for application until at least 8/26/2024.
