Senior Marketing Manager

will be

leading marketing activities across the Condiments & Sauces Delivery team. Responsibilities include the

direction, development and execution of strategic plans for product groups to achieve sales goals. Overall responsibility for volume/profitability, creative, advertising, consumer & trade promotion, merchandising, packaging, new products and pricing.RESPONSIBILITIESAccountable for overall P&L, pricing strategy and budgets of product groups.Provides direction to key cross-functional partners such as research, sales, product development, manufacturing, quality, finance, legal & advertising agencies.Develops comprehensive annual brand plans for presentation and alignment to divisional leadershipMonitors execution of plans and makes course correction as needed.Collaborates closely with Global Marketing team on new products and line extension development, testing, promotions, advertising and public relations.Liaison with global and North American retail teams to leverage efficiencies and learning across geographies.Development, engagement & management of direct reports; mentoring of othersREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSUniversity degree in Marketing or Business ManagementDemonstrated relevant skills & results in consumer packaged goods marketing, forecasting, advertising, market research, consumer & trade promotion, P&L management and business planning requiredDemonstrated success building brands in consumer packaged goods marketing

(8 years)Proven team leadership and employee management and development skills

(5 years)Expertise in syndicated databases, market research, business planning, media planning, finance, promotional activities and consumer communicationsExpert level understanding of concepts, principles and practices in Marketing and a sound understanding in other areas including Sales, Finance and Supply ChainIn-depth understanding of how own area integrates with cross-functional teams such as Sales.Understanding of the industry sector and competitive landscapeStrong written and verbal communication skills and developed diplomacy skills required to guide, influence & convince others; strong relationship with Sales and external customers and agenciesFinancially savvy, with ability to manage cost centers, negotiate services and associated feesExperience leading cross-functinoal team is preferredPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSMBA#LI-SM1#HybridMcCormick & Company is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
