The basics of this position:

St. Louis Community College invites applications for a one-year, temporary position in our Deaf Communication Studies program. The selected candidate will teach American Sign Language or related courses, contribute to departmental activities, and have required office hours (10 minimum).

What you'll do:

Teach American Sign Language or related courses;Maintain campus hours to meet the needs of students;Create and maintain accurate course records inclusive of grades and attendance;Contribute to the departmental work and programmatic conversations.

Education, experience, and other requirements:

An Associate's degree in any field and be Deaf or Hard of Hearing and a Native user of American Sign Language.

Preferred Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in any field and be Deaf or Hard of Hearing and a Native user of American Sign Language.
