[Job Summary]

The Marketing Specialist/Associate is responsible for overall product marketing, including operational and administrative support for various marketing projects. Other responsibilities include, but not limited to: Lead Management, Promotional Material & Financial Marketing Support. In addition, provide assistance and support to the entire Marketing Team as it relates to special projects, trade shows/events and other departmental activities which require support.

[Job Description]

Responsible for product marketing where it appliesMarketing Budget Control: manage annual and monthly budget planning and forecasting, execute monthly closing using SAP in accordance with Accounting & Business Planning Team

Estimate Total Marketing Budget Weekly / Monthly / Annually

Fulfillment Management (literature, promo items, sample & displays), this includes but is not limited to vendor management, ensure information is accurate (external fulfillment website and Salesforce), inventory management, usage reports and invoicingSupport the financial Marketing needs by handling quotes, creating, tracking and following up on purchase orders, invoice coding, provide budget analysis (as requested) and document transfers in tracking spreadsheets as required or requested in accordance with company guidelines & processesResponsible for handling inquiries submitted via website/other channels ? either via directly responding to inquiries within 48 hours or forward to other departments as neededEffectively process all marketing leads from various sources, such as but not limited to: online, print advertising and/or tradeshowsDetermine lead fulfillment option digital vs. snail mail based on information provided/requestedOrganize and track all leads, categorize and deliver to the field sales team monthly to ensure “high potential” leads have immediate follow upFollow-up with the field sales team on lead progress and track any ROI that may come from the fieldPrepare quarterly updates to leadership on quantity, quality and percentage of follow up from the fieldOversees inventory management of collateral stored and shipped by fulfillment companyProcess product orders supporting other Marketing Team members and/or other departmentsAssist Marketing Manager with tasks related to national and local trade shows and company events, this includes but is not limited to ordering show services, catering, hotel bookings, etcCoordinate hotel reservations and other requests in support of VIP customer plant visitsAssist with loose samples/display tasks, including order processing, questions by the Sales TeamRole requires an in-depth understanding of the company’s CRM & Marketing Automation Software to assist with the execution of marketing campaigns (i.e. newsletters), requiring an on-going dialogue with the Sales Team ensuring key stakeholders are accounted for within the company’s CRM systemServe as the primary marketing contact for the internal and external sales teamAssist them with questions and needs related to the duties outlined in the job purpose aboveReview requests with Manager to ensure that they align with departmental goals, objectives and workloadCollaborate with the international Marketing Team at Headquarters (HQ) in Korea and other global offices, which includes but is not limited to ensure tools offered are being utilized, manage country-specific adaptations if needed, provide reporting as requested by HQ, etc

Listed below are the minimum and/or desired qualifications of the position including education, work experience and knowledge & skills that are required to perform satisfactorily in the position:

Education and Work Experience:

Bachelor degree in Marketing or related fieldAt least 2+ years of experience in a related marketing role

Knowledge and Skills:

Expert knowledge of MS Office SuiteExperience in managing financial resourcesPrior experience and knowledge of customer relationship platforms (i.e. Salesforce)Prior experience and knowledge of marketing automation platforms (i.e. Pardot, Eloqua)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsPrior experience with content creation and social media management preferred, but not requiredAbility to effectively present information to the Marketing and Sales teams, other department managers, external vendors and the Executive TeamMust also be a self-starter, able to work autonomously, team player, motivated, energetic and be able to pay exceptional attention to detailStrong organizational skills are requiredAbility to handle tight deadlines and excel in a fast-paced environment, changing priorities or requesting additional resources as needed to execute requested projects on timeMust be flexible, open to feedback and present a positive attitude in working with internal/external sources to achieve goalsMust have the ability to learn software/systems, training others and manage daily tasks effectively
