Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), the Marketing and Events Coordinator is responsible for supporting all aspects of delivering and reviewing a holistic Marketing and Communications Strategy for Guide Dogs, VisAbility, and Kites WA and Tasmania.

This is a full-time, permanent position based at our Victoria Park head office.Key responsibilities and accountabilitiesContribute to the execution of marketing campaigns and activity across various channels, including websites, social media, and traditional marketing methods.Provide support to the Marketing Program Managers in delivering services to the organisation.Collaborate with the CMO to review the relevance and appropriateness of both internal and external event requests and assess the event objectives, the return on investment and overall event alignment with the organisation and its brand objectives.Support the maintenance of Guide Dogs, VisAbility, and Kites WA and Tasmanian websites, ensuring they are current, informative, and user-friendly.Support the Marketing Program Managers to design and develop collateral materials, including brochures, flyers, and digital assets, to support service delivery enhancement and fundraising objectives, goals, and targets.Collaborate with state teams to source and promote local content that resonates with the respective communities.Take written and/or spoken ideas and convert them into a design/visual asset that support marketing, communication, and fundraising objectives.Liaise with and coordinate external resource providers as required.Desired Skills and Experience

Skills and attributes requiredBachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline.Proven success in a similar role.Proficient in the Adobe Suite specifically InDesign, Premiere Pro and Photoshop.Experience using social media platforms, social media scheduling tools and creating engaging content.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Experience in content creation and adept at collaborating in-person with staff, clients, and partners.Intermediate photography, videography and editing skills.Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong willingness to assist where needed.Ability to work across various brands keeping in line with differing style guides.Friendly, professional, and confident working alongside colleagues and clients.Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Knowledge of search engine optimisation and content creation on WordPress sites.Compliance requirements: National Police Clearance, NDIS Worker Screening Check and Valid Driver’s Licence.Experience in event coordination or a related field, including planning and executing various events.Proficiency in event management software and tools.Ability to work collaboratively and independently to meet event objectives.Experience in tailoring communications to ensure inclusivity and accessibility will be an advantage.Benefits:In return, you will be rewarded with:Free onsite parking and close to public transport (across the road from Victoria Park Train Station)Three additional days of paid leave as a gift to you over the Christmas / New Year periodFree access to our gymOngoing professional development and trainingEmployee Assistance ProgramNFP salary packaging options – use some of your salary for everyday expenses before income tax; meaning you can increase your take-home pay!How to apply?
