WJZ-TV, Baltimore is seeking a Digital Producer of Streaming! Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:Ability to make independent editorial decisions on editing, writing, producing, and highlighting news content consistent with station philosophy and brand objective.Respond quickly and optimally to breaking news across all platforms.Producing video with sound elements that evoke emotion and are memorable.Produce content for community initiatives and streaming.Will be responsible for working with both streaming and linear producers.Ability to multi-task, communicate and coordinate with on-air television assignment editors and producers.Basic Qualifications:
Strong editing, editorial and writing skills with an understanding of newsroom operations.Must be a self-starter who can work independently to achieve digital goals.HTML, Edius (or knowledge of editing platforms), Photoshop, Microsoft Office, WordPress and Social Media Platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.).Additional Qualifications:
Ability to write and edit scripts and video is important.Basic video and graphic design experience preferred.Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
