In This Role, You Will

Serve as a player/coach, offering both strategic leadership and hands-on research/design expertise.Lead product teams in understanding customer behavior, pain points, and needs.Address experience challenges within your product and the broader healthcare landscape.Take a comprehensive user-centered perspective, prioritizing value for users and the business.Test hypotheses, translate insights into actionable design tasks, and create detailed user flows and prototypes.Communicate design rationale to non-designers, fostering shared understanding.Advocate for human-centered design to drive competitive advantage.Provide creative direction and thought leadership to designers and researchers.Cultivate relationships with cross-functional leaders and stakeholders, embodying transparency and collaboration.

The Ideal Candidate

Qualifications

7-10 years’ experience in human-centered digital product and service design.Proficiency in experience design best practices for digital and real-world interactions.Skills in IA, journey mapping, blueprinting, and interaction design, utilizing relevant tools.Proficient in planning, facilitating, and analyzing research and usability testing.Strong visual, verbal, and written communication skills for impactful storytelling.Comfort with modern product/service design lifecycle and guiding teams through design thinking.3+ years of healthcare design experience (e.g., consumer, pharmacy, health plans).BS/MS degree in human factors, design, psychology, sociology, or related fields.Familiarity with healthcare strategy, operations, and technology.Experience in designing effective data visualizations for varied audiences.
