This is a highly visible position in the Boyd Group that is an integral part of our marketing team. The Marketing Manager, Sponsorship & Marketing Programs, will be responsible for overseeing various activations, events, and marketing programs from initial planning through final execution.This role will optimize business results through productive partnerships with our cross functional team members and with outside vendors.Key Job Responsibilities

Oversee the creation and execution of promotional campaigns specific to the needs of each project and in support of the brand. Manage advertising, sports sponsorships, and promotional programs to support Boyd brands and services. (Examples include NHRA, NHL sports sponsorships, NABC Recycled Rides, local event sponsorships, etc)Collaborate with cross functional team members within the organization to create marketing programs that contribute to the organization’s objectives (e.g. Recruiting campaigns, Sales Team initiatives, etc)Oversee daily details specific to the needs of each project and in support of the brand portfolioServe as liaison on behalf of Boyd Group for agency vendors and business partnersContribute to Marketing Team creative process to ensure proper and consistent communication of the brand’s identityManage multiple budgets and assist with budgetary requests, analysis and reporting as needed (i.e. monthly and quarterly)Create and maintain project budgets and timelines as required for each project and project phaseLead agency partners to manage marketing and promotional campaigns across multiple channels including digital media, radio, print and mobileNegotiate annual and multi-year sponsorships and events. (e.g. Analyzing best ROI and leveraging partnerships to gain additional support to support campaigns.)Active participant and member of the Boyd Group Marketing Team; attends and contributes to regular team meetings and eventsEducation and/or Experience Required

Bachelor’s degree in business; emphasis on marketing, advertising or communications preferred3-5 Years of experience in a marketing role at the manager level (could include event, program management, etc)Demonstrate Proficiency with planning and executing multi-dimensional marketing events and promotions including on site activations, marketing programs and digital marketingMedia Buying/Planning and Digital Marketing experience is a plusRequired Skills/Abilities

The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented self starter with the ability to juggle multiple projects and communicate effectively both internally and externally.The role requires a strong team player who is highly focused, detail-oriented, and very conscientious of meeting budget restraints and timelines. A creative mind and business acumen are essential to succeed in the role of a marketing manager.Someone who: Demonstrate core values and can WOW every customer, vendor and partner on a daily basis.In-depth knowledge of various promotional marketing tactics, tools and techniquesAbility to lead and manage multi-disciplinary projects over multiple marketsExcellent written and verbal and communication skillsOther Requirements
