What You Will Do

Sales Enablement is part of Guidehouse's growth office, working across the firm to drive continuous improvement in sales performance. The Sales Enablement team contributes to Guidehouse’s growth by bringing best practices in capture, competitive insights and proposal development to segments’ most critical pursuits.

As a Guidehouse Associate, you will participate in Guidehouse Business Development projects including proposals for new business in the Federal Government, State/Local, and Commercial markets. You will assist proposal teams throughout the proposal development process by editing and desktop publishing, reviewing documents for compliance and quality, and assisting with department initiatives and special projects. By doing so you will learn and become familiar with industry best proposal practices and processes.

Key responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

Support Proposal Managers with proposal development activities, team communications, and document control to control the proposal development process.Create cross reference and compliance matrixes, forms, and outlines.Take and distribute meeting notes with action items, assignments and deadlines clearly noted.Track action items and escalate issues in a timely manner.Perform compliance checks while compiling proposal documents or volumes to confirm that material provided by contributors meet RFP requirements or company guidelines.Format proposals in accordance with Guidehouse standard proposal templates in Word and/or Power Point and assist proposal team members in use of the proposal template.Discuss graphics and text requirements at various stages of completion and makes necessary changes as determined by customerArchive final proposals and re-usable proposal content following final submission.Support department projects or initiatives related to knowledge management, proposal design and graphics, or training

What You Will Need

Minimum Years of Experience: 0 yearsMinimum Degree Status: Bachelor's degree (Must still be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program through Fall 2024 and graduate by Summer 2025)Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the countryNo sponsorship is available for this position

Experience working on proposals for U.S. Government contractsDegree/Majors Preferred: Graphic Design, Commercial Art, Communications, JournalismProficient skill level with Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Illustrator, InDesign, PhotoShop) and Microsoft PowerPointDemonstrated experience utilizing Adobe Acrobat ProfessionalPossesses strong oral and written communication skillsHeightened attention to detail
