We challenge our members to lead lives of significance that positively impact their communities.Your Role in Our Mission:Alpha Gamma Delta’s award-winning Communications and Marketing Team is integral in building international brand affinity through an innovative, intentional approach to both internal and external communications. The team is committed to elevating engagement and maintaining brand integrity and congruence across the organization.Your success will be defined by your ability to produce quality work against hard deadlines, build collaborative and productive relationships with staff and volunteers, and be proactive in the continued development and execution of the Fraternity’s marketing strategy.What You Will Be Doing

Oversee the production of four issues of the Quarterly magazine from start to finish, including project management of involved staff members and contributors. Create a content calendar for the year and conceptualize the design of each issue.Serve as primary quality control lead and copy editor for all Alpha Gamma Delta content, including but not limited to blog posts, mailings, education materials, newsletters, emails, official communications, print and digital collateral, presentations, recruitment/extension/installation materials, and website content.Assist with press releases, talking points, position statements, and script writing.Maintain the Alpha Gamma Delta Visual Identity and Style Guide and AP Style on all projects.You Are:

A communications and marketing professional with a desire to contribute to an innovative, collaborative team.An excellent communicator with strong verbal and written skills in the English language.A skilled project manager who can manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a rapidly changing environment and work with a sense of urgency.Flexible, able to adapt to changing needs and shift priorities as required.Able to demonstrate sound decision-making in high-pressure conditions with minimal oversight.Creative and resilient—able to work through complex problems and think of creative solutions. Detail-oriented, organized, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.AP Style Expert: Ability to create, compose, edit, and proofread copy.Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in journalism/communications/English or related field.3-5 years relevant work experience in the communications or publishing field required; experience working with a print/digital magazine preferred.Previous supervisory experience preferred.A strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, project management applications (Asana), Email platforms, and the WordPress website content management system preferred.Magazine layout/design (Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop/Lightroom) experience is required.Membership in Alpha Gamma Delta or another fraternity/sorority is preferred.Ability and willingness to travel as a representative of the Fraternity when needed.Must be able and willing to lift and carry items 35-50 lbs.Writing portfolio must be submitted with application.Job-Status:
