We are looking for someone with natural creativity to join our Marketing team.The Graphic Designer will elevate the Marketing department through creative support for our sales team, company events, and corporate branding. This role works closely with colleagues to coordinate projects and product-related marketing tools. Duties include, but are not limited to:Design marketing collateral such as handouts, brochures and presentationsDesign materials for special events and trade shows, such as invitations, signage, and promotional itemsAssist in brand development, website design, and digital graphics for social mediaCreate and distribute e-mail campaigns and notificationsProduce and edit videos for product promotions, special events, or social mediaUpload and maintain videos on YouTube, Vimeo, and social media platformsMaintain photo library and other creative assetsCoordinate projects with vendors in media production and printingOther projects as neededAvalon seeks candidates with at least 3 years design experience (or a combination of education, formal training, and experience), preferably in marketing, advertising, or other related fields with a portfolio. Candidates must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. This position will require creativity, excellent organizational skills, and close attention to detail. Candidates must be able to prioritize projects to achieve completion within set deadlines. Our ideal candidate will be self-motivated, flexible, and a team player.Candidates must be able to create compelling materials and be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite programs such as Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat Professional, Photoshop, Premier Pro, After Effects, or related software.Avalon is a premier provider of innovative insurance and surety solutions.
