JOB REQUIREMENTS

MARKETING RESPONSIBILITIES

Work with WTW Executive leaders and Directors to understand organizational strategy and vision to build the Wine To Water marketing.

Develop and execute a strategic plan for WTW marketing and communications that advances the WTW brand, differentiates WTW, and advances opportunities for growth.

Represent WTW at Filter Build events with expertise in public speaking to articulate the WTW brand, story, and mission.

Develop and present marketing plans to key stakeholders, CMOs, and global partners that connect WTW vision to corporate, CSR, and Beyond Water initiatives (Sustainability, Women’s Empowerment, Economic Growth, UN SDGs, etc).

Leverage marketing strategies to expand WTW brand, global partnerships, and WTW FilterBuild into new markets with ROI.

Track and report analytics to evaluate impact and ROI of marketing tactics.

Create a website, advertising, and public relations plan to advance WTW brand.

DEPARTMENT LEADERSHIP + BUDGET RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the Marketing + Communications strategic planning process consistent with WTW brand messaging, strategies, revenue targets, and product line marketing including:

Website development

Donor and Partner communications - email, print, digital

Social media accounts (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter).

Advertising

Public Relations

Design and collateral

Oversee the coordination of photography, videography, design, and production of brand content.

Prioritize organizational collateral and graphic design needs from all WTW teams with a focus on ROI for revenue generation from WTW Filter Build Program, Global Partnerships, and Donors.

Create streamlined systems to manage communications, marketing, and publications in sync with an annual calendar and revenue priorities.

Develop and manage the Marketing and Communications budget with analysis and expectations of ROI.

FUND DEVELOPMENT + FILTERBUILD MARKETING and COMMUNICATIONS

The Marketing Director will work collaboratively with the Marketing Manager, Content Creator(s), other MarComms team members, Fund Development, and FilterBuild leaders to:

Produce inspiring and powerful program collateral to inspire engagement and advance support from major donors, corporate funders, and FilterBuild partners.

Create succinct marketing language in alignment with WTW brand for campaigns such as World Water Day and End Of Year Giving.

Lead storytelling process to produce content from global field offices and international programs.

Lead and articulate WTW brand alignment with corporate partners, FilterBuild sponsors, and key WTW stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS

Commitment to Wine To Water’s mission, vision, and values.

5+ years of successful experience in marketing, brand development, communications, and team leadership.

Experience with nonprofit, corporate sectors, and global audiences with a Marketing and/or Communications portfolio.

Public speaking and stage presentation experience.

Excellent English written and verbal communication & editing skills.

Ability to work strategically and produce ROI.

Ability to lead in a dynamic and fast-changing environment.

Strong background coaching and empowering team members.

Must be able to travel domestically and internationally with a valid driver's license and proper country documentation.

EXPERIENCE

7+ years experience in Marketing and Communications.

5+ years experience developing and leading teams.

Global and corporate/CSR experience preferred.

Spanish language beneficial.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Sufficient physical ability to work in an office setting and operate office equipment; the employee is regularly required to bend, stoop, kneel, and at times may be required to lift 25+ pounds and can be exposed to indoor, outdoor temperatures and various living situations. Must be able to operate motorized vehicles with a valid license.
