Participate in Production Meetings scheduled by the Executive Artistic Director, director, or stage manager.Create sound design for production following careful reading of script, background research, and collaboration with director, choreographer, musical director, and other designers.Create a mic plot for the production.Create and edit all sound effects/music necessary for the production.Plot and coordinate any practical speakers.Program the Midas M32 sound board with all sound cues, scenes, and presets.Program QLab with all sound effects.EQ the sound system for the production.Coordinate amplification of orchestra in pit, onstage band, or backing tracks as necessary.Be available for questions from technical staff members during build and tech period.Provide the sound board operator with clearly marked cue script.Other duties as assigned by the Executive Artistic Director.DURATION
