Milwaukee, WIGlobal Power Components is seeking a truly multi-talented designer and maker of all things creative. Are you outgoing and self-motivated? Do you want to work with 3D printers, laser cutters, and CNC machines to create truly unique and challenging projects? Bring your passion, creativity, and problem-solving skills, and put them to work in our 3500 square foot maker space.Job Description:
Work with team members to create visually aesthetic and functional designs to be used in presentations, technical illustrations, video productions, and promotional goods. Work with production materials and tools to produce specialized products, costumes, and goods to be used for prototyping and marketing.Recommended Software & Creative Skills:
Creative Software:
Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Flash/Animate, Adobe Acrobat, Lightroom, SketchUp, Solidworks, Fusion 360, Rhino 3DVideo & Photography:
Proficiency with DSLR for stills and videoCrafting / Sculpting / 3D Printing:
Proficiency with small hand tools, crafting tools, knowledge of 3D printing, mold making, large format painting, costume design, vinyl cutters, some knowledge of electronics, Arduino and Raspberry Pi are a plus.Costume Making:
Proficiency with a sewing machine, sewing techniques, EVA foam, painting - brush or sprayEqual Opportunity Employer:
