The Manager, HR Corporate Communications role develops and manages large-scale internal communication strategies for some of our most important employee programs across the enterprise. We’re looking for a leader and a team player to partner with key internal clients and work closely with the corporate communications team and functional teams across Cox’s businesses. That means putting our employees first, delivering excellent products and services to our customers and giving back to the communities where we live and work.Our Corporate Communications team plays a critical role in supporting our business functions, connecting our employees and evolving the unique culture and values of our private, family-owned company.What You’ll DoDevelop and execute strategic communications plans to drive awareness and participation in programs and benefits provided to employees.Leverage a broad range of internal communications and project management skills to build trust and relationships.Foster relationships with internal partners to serve as a trusted advisor.Partner with the Content and Channels, Executive, Public Relations and Creative Studio teams to develop content as needed, including videos, presentations, branding, articles, key messages, social content, and toolkits.Build and maintain internal relationships within Corporate Communications and Corporate Affairs team, division communicators and stakeholders across Cox.Supervise freelance contractors, and outside vendors, including external printers, writers, and others.Continuously measure the effectiveness of internal communications strategies and introduce best-practices and new tactics as necessary.Skills You’ll NeedBachelor’s degree in a related discipline such as journalism, communications, English, or marketing and 6 years’ experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and 4 years’ experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 10 years’ experience in a related field.At least 10+ years of professional experience in a strategic internal communications role, specializing in HR Communications.Technical expertise in communicating HR programs, including employee benefits, compensation, learning & development, performance, mobility and other offerings.Knowledge and understanding of communication campaign development and execution.A collaborative, supportive leader and team player.Exceptional interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively.Ability to work on multiple, simultaneous communications programs that require both strategic thinking as well as high-speed tactical execution.Excellent writing and verbal and project management skills required.Ability to execute with speed, high level of accuracy and efficiency, attention to detail and follow through.Creative problem-solver; implements sound judgment knowing when to make independent decisions and when to collaborate.Visit us at coxenterprises.com or follow us at @CoxEnterprises on Twitter and Instagram. #LifeAtCox
