Description
The Canvassing Manager is responsible for managing the canvassing team’s performance in their efforts to generate interest and set appointments with homeowners in their local market. The Canvassing Manager will be responsible for driving MLM’s vision, culture, and goals daily. The ideal candidate will lead by example and must be comfortable with both positive and negative performance management.
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of canvassing/field marketing experience and 2+ years of management experience. Industry experience is beneficial, but not required.
Key Responsibilities
Overseeing local and regional field marketing initiatives and activitiesLeading daily meetings to inform and motivate your teamPlanning and directing the hiring and training of new canvassing representativesTracking and analyzing sales/marketing statistics based on key quantitative metricsLead by example in both performance and behaviors that are aligned with MLM’s standardsManage the team on a daily basis using multiple techniques:Weekly one on ones with each member of your teamRide-alongs and shadowing in the fieldAcknowledgement and recognitionOn the spot coachingWorking with managers in other departments to discover, improve and manage your departmentWorking with MLM’s internal CRM as well as other proprietary databases and platforms
Compensation
$60,000 salary + uncapped commissionOn average, our Canvassing Managers make $120,000-$150,000 annually

Work Environment
This job operates outside 70% of the time within a defined territory and in office/administrative 30% of the time.
Physical Demands
This is a physical role that will be expected to work outside within all elements. Must have the ability to lift, pull and push up to 100 pounds.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Code red and other business hours will apply as needed.
Off Peak Schedule
November 1st - March 14th - Monday - Friday, 10am-6pm EST and two (2) Saturdays per month, 9am - 2pm EST
Peak Schedule
March 15th - October 31st - Monday - Friday, 11am - 7:30pm EST and two (2) Saturdays per month, 9am - 2pm EST
Travel
This position requires extensive travel within their territory and/or to and from other MLM offices.
