Become a part of our caring community and help us put health firstThe Senior Learning Design Professional uses instructional design, cognitive psychology and adult learning theory to determine the appropriate solution to a knowledge or performance gap. The Senior Learning Design Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.Where you Come InAnalyze content, organize content, design solutions, and write storyboards, scripts, performance support, mobile learning and manuals.Write effective learning objectives and coordinate performance assessments to measure training effectiveness.Analyze learning needs and partner with subject matter experts to provide input for course content ensuring course materials are current and relevant.Design and develop learning solutions for both new hire and existing associates to support role-based organizational needs.Conduct needs analysis and use findings to develop targeted learning solutions.Use a disciplined instructional design approach to create meaningful, memorable learning experiences.Select appropriate learning activities and methods to achieve objectives and build those activities into a meaningful sequence.Select appropriate media for delivery (instructor-led training, e-learning, virtual, blended learning, etc.) to ensure learning needs are effectively met.Create high quality solutions that are creative, engaging, instructionally sound, complete, and accurately convey learning concepts.Identify and validate content for learning materials based on input from operational business partners.Evaluate the success of learning solutions in terms of learning outcomes in collaboration with operational metrics, performance change and business impact.Prepare facilitator support materials (i.e. PowerPoint slides, leader/facilitator guides, learning activities, evaluation tools, etc.) and conduct 'train-the-trainer' sessions.Facilitate content when and where appropriate.Manage annual course review process: establish project timelines, milestones and regularly communicate progress to all stakeholders.Use your skills to make an impactRequired Qualifications - What it takes to Succeed.5+ years' experience developing curriculum content, eLearning programs and virtual learning solutions.3+ years of facilitation experience with adult learners.2+ years in a consumer facing role within a business.Proficient in one or more of the following: Camtasia or other video tool, Adobe Captivate 8.0 (and above), Microsoft 365, Storyline 3 and Articulate Rise.Strong knowledge of eLearning standards and Adult Learning Theory.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.Flexibility navigating change in a fast-paced environment.Travel up to 20%Preferred QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business, Education, Communications or related fields.Master's Degree in Instructional Design, Adult Education or related field.Proficiency designing virtual Instructor-Led training using Zoom.5+ years in contact center learning and development.Experience developing and managing courses in a LMS.Additional InformationThis position will be subject to travel up to 20%.To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service must meet the following criteria:At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended.Wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership.Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.Our Hiring ProcessAs part of our hiring process for this opportunity, we may contact you via text message and email to gather more information using a software platform called Modern Hire.If you are selected to move forward from your application prescreen, you may receive correspondence inviting you to participate in a pre-recorded Voice, Text Messaging and/or Video interview.If you have additional questions regarding this role posting and are an Internal Candidate, please send them to the Ask A Recruiter persona.Scheduled Weekly Hours40Pay RangeThe compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $69,800 - $96,200 per year.
