You’ll Enjoy OurWork-Life Balance – Most Evenings, Weekends, & Holidays OffOn-The-Job TrainingProfessional Development Training & ProgramsCompetitive Pay & Annual Performance-Based Increase OpportunitiesPTOPaid Holidays – we are closed the 6 major holidays of the yearMaternity LeaveWork environment where everyone takes pride in their work and can see their impact on the companyGenerous Employee DiscountsWe Also ProvideVarious Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance Plans To Fit Any Lifestyle & FamilySupplemental Health Insurance Add-On ProgramsMedical & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts100% Company-Paid Short- & Long-Term Disability Insurance401(k) Program & Company MatchingLife InsuranceWhat You’ll Take Ownership Of:The Graphic Designer is responsible for building digital brand awareness for both brick-and-mortar and e-Commerce platforms by:Creating, executing, and supporting the look and feel of our digital media across all devices.Collaborating with various departments to create design solutions for email, web, and mobile.Working closely with web developers to ensure all designs function within the technical requirements.Updating website content, utilizing optimization tools such as SEO, alt tags, and content, and producing attractive visual art that appeals to Acme Tools’ customers.Creating and presenting multiple creative solutions that show thoughtful approaches to strategy and marketing objectives.Reinforcing the brand look and feel across different platforms and channels.Maintaining design documentation, style guides, and specifications.Rolling with the punches with whatever other design task comes your way.Need-To-HavesBachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Design or related field or equivalent working experience.Knowledge and experience designing across multiple media and platforms.Understanding of branding, style guidelines and following style restrictions.Clean design sense.Exceptional attention to detail.Ability to work with a high level of autonomy and take initiative.Excellent communication, planning, time management, and follow-through skills.Natural visual thinker ready to grow and take direction from creative leadership.Love-To-Haves2+ years of experience in modern web design such as responsive design, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.Outstanding creative portfolio demonstrating conceptual and design skills with an eye for typography, composition, layout, color, and pixel-level attention to detail.Ability to select or modify existing photography or stock images that enhance design and brand.Previous experience designing for an e-commerce website; including email, social media, and display advertising marketing.Physical RequirementsProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Employment offers are contingent on drug-screen and background check.
