Are you passionate about photography and telling the story of Auburn through pictures? Do you have an interest in event and campus life photography? Photographic Services is looking to hire an experienced student photographer to join our creative team. Our photographers cover student and department events, as well as graduation. Students have the ability to learn studio and on-location lighting, attend events for the Office of the President, and assist with photo shoots that we have with Aubie. Being able to work well with support staff and clients on a professional level is a must. Applicants should work well in unfamiliar situations and be able to meet deadlines.Essential Functions:The ideal student will know how to use the camera’s manual settings and have a basic knowledge of the Adobe Suite for photo editing.The right candidate will also have experience using digital SLR or mirrorless cameras, flash, and the Adobe Suite (Lightroom, Photoshop).This position will download images, catalog them with appropriate keywords and captions, and then upload photos to our image archive (Photoshelter) within a few hours after a shoot.This paid position has a flexible schedule with some night and weekend appointments.Minimum Qualifications
