There are many reasons to build your career at Carter's.HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT:The Customer Communications Specialist is an important member of the Owned Channels team & overall marketing team, responsible for owning quality assurance and email & mobile campaign deployment for Carter’s family of brands.Works as part of the Owned Channels operations team in combination with the email & mobile strategy teams, creative, development and CRM teams to create, deliver, track, optimize, and automate email marketing & mobile campaigns.This role reports to the Manager, Customer Communications and is based in our Atlanta Phipps Plaza office and is on-site 4 days a week.

Campaign Execution - 50%Own execution of manual and automated email, SMS and app push campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud & Attentive Mobile platform, including:Quality assurance and change management for 20-25 email/mobile campaigns/weekAudience assignment and filter creationDeployment schedulingTesting executionCampaign monitoring, including matching deployment reporting to planned audience size and deliverabilityProject Management- 20%Coordinate with cross-functional partners to gather assets and requirements for 20-25 campaigns per week, with emphasis on automated journeysTrack assigned email & mobile campaigns throughout the development process via JiraAlong with Customer Communications manager, escalate and address campaign risksCollaboration - 30%Collaborate with MarTech partners ensure email technology is implemented correctly and functions within typical campaign cadenceCollaborate with marketing partners to support new initiatives and innovation within email & mobile campaigns; own necessary steps for executionSupport updates providing guidelines and status updates to key partnersAble to collaborate quickly and effectively to support business needsWE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF:Must have:Must be able to effectively manage multiple campaigns within specific deadlines. Know how to work independently and collaboratively as well as able to problem solve within a fast pace environmentStrong understanding of up-to-date marketing and email communication strategies and best practices around permission-based marketing, deliverability, personalization, segmentation, and SPAM, including CAN-SPAM laws and regulations.Preferred skills:Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure with careful attention to detail is a mustUnderstanding of a strong promotional-cadence environmentSelf-motivated, organized and accountableHands-on, solution-oriented approachGreat eye for details where accuracy is imperativeTeam player mentality is a mustPreferred experience:3-5+ years of email marketing experience, ideally with a fast paced, high-volume email programExperience building campaigns in Salesforce Marketing CloudExperience in an agency and/or corporate marketing environment preferredRetail experience a plusCreative thinking, project management, leadership experience, excellent presentation & verbal skills
