From hybrid schedules and flexible time off to training programs and mental wellness initiatives, we take care of our team.If you want to be in an environment where you can grow, feed your curiosity and make a difference, Wipfli is the place for you.We are looking for an extraordinary PR specialist: One that is driven to succeed, sees stories in the details, loves working with a growing firm, can collaborate with a dynamic team and is passionate about sharing Wipfli’s story with the world.As the PR lead, you will work with our PR agency to help develop, coordinate and execute media relations strategies.Responsibilities:Support the development and direct the execution of our firm’s PR and media relations and brand strategy, working with the director of communications and leadership.Oversee our agency relationships, help foster connections within the firm and deliver ROI reports on all PR efforts.Manage existing media relationships, establish rapport with key media contacts, and evaluate and develop new media relationships through proactive outreach and incoming media requests.Proactively identify trends, pitch ideas, and create engaging content to grow brand awareness in collaboration with our content team and internal communications team.Grow reach and performance for our content through traditional and innovative media strategies.Work with our executive strategy and communications team with respect to effective media outreach and its integration with corporate risks and opportunities.Handle crisis communications strategies and execution if the need arises.Support and give guidance and coaching on effective interaction with the media as needed.Develop, coordinate, track, compile and report on KPIs among agencies and your own firmwide media metrics to measure our performance.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in media relations, communications or closely related field.Minimum of 3 years’ experience in media relations or equivalent combination of education and experience.Proven omni-channel PR experience and B2B experience in professional services.Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.Excellent communications and writing skills.Excellent collaboration and coaching experience.Flexible to adjust to changing marketplace and firm growth.Able to draw out stories across a wide range of industries and services.Wipfli is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer. The estimated pay range for this position is: $73,000 to $98,000. Compensation within the range is determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, individuals' skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, business needs and applicable employment laws.Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, subject to participation rules and based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual and Firm performance.Wipfli cares about our associates and offers a variety of benefits to support their well-being.
