We provide culinary entertainment to kids, families, and adults in a fun, beautiful, and state-of-the-art Kitchen Studio. Kids ages 2 to teen love our hands-on cooking classes, camps, birthday parties, and field trips. Adults love our BYOB date night cooking classes, birthday parties, bachelorettes, showers, and corporate events. Our innovative programs are as entertaining as they are educational! We always strive to engage and delight our guests.

We have expanded from a single kitchen in NYC to kitchens throughout the country and are currently looking for someone to join our corporate office in Queenstown, MD.

Job Description:

The Director of Marketing will have the important role of developing and implementing our brand standards and marketing initiatives to help our locations promote their cooking classes to new guests. Secondarily, you will help headquarters reach potential new franchisees. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is passionate about beautiful brand standards, loves all things marketing, and wants to help our locations grow their sales.

To be successful in this role, you will need to understand both the 'art' and the 'science' of developing actionable marketing initiatives that drive decision making. You will be eager to work in an emerging franchise company with an "all hands on deck" attitude when needed to get the job done.

Responsibilities:

In-house marketing expert with extensive knowledge on all things marketing and current industry trends

Develop and maintain our beautiful brand standards

Create and implement marketing plans, including promotional calendars and programs, new product introductions, and other marketing projects

Oversee and work closely with website vendor to maintain a best-in-class website

Strategize and run organic and paid social media and Google ad campaigns

As required, work with and manage vendors/agencies and freelancers.

Develop and maintain community outreach initiatives

Leverage technology to run cost-effective and efficient targeted marketing

Analyze marketing campaigns and advertisements to know their effectiveness including website traffic, Google Universal Analytics, and conversions to sales

Graphic design and development to create on-trend materials and email newsletters

Develop and manage marketing budgets that align with sales goals

Develop innovative advertising, public relations, social media, and events

Conduct customer, brand, and product research initiatives

Maintain and develop brand partnerships

Work with influencers to grow our reach and followers

Generate creative content including videos, social media posts, and blog posts.

Drive continuous innovation in evolving formats most effective at engaging our target audiences.

Conduct market analyses for each new franchise location. Train our franchise locations on how to run a great marketing campaign. Monitor their customized marketing plan. Track and ensure brand compliance across our locations. Limited travel may be needed for new store openings and other training needs in the field.

As needed, act as a liaison for franchise development partner to help us reach potential franchises.

As a small business, issues may arise that may not directly relate to what is described above, and you will be asked to assist in their resolution.

Qualifications:

3+ years of relevant experience including digital marketing, graphic design, SEO, and client-facing experience

Strong familiarity with technology tools for running cost-effective and efficient campaigns

Great design aesthetic to create beautiful materials

Extensive expertise with social media and Google advertising

Familiarity with Apple computers, Google Docs, Google Analytics, Canva, and WordPress websites

Must love numbers and data analysis and have a keen eye for details and accountability

Excellent customer service skills, must be a people pleaser

Sparkling personality with a smile on your face the majority of the time.

The uncanny ability to see opportunities and solutions in the face of a challenge.

Self-starter who wants to be a part of a great team

Relentless problem solver and will constantly be assessing and resolving both simple and complex challenges.
