Join us.Role OverviewThe Executive Communications role will be responsible for developing and elevating global messaging for some of the company’s top executives. This seasoned communications professional will craft high-level narratives that amplify our strategy, elevate our external presence, and deliver successful results and outcomes.ResponsibilitiesDevelop short- and long-form executive communications (employee communications, client communications, conference speeches, op-eds, social media posts, etc.)Curate and do speechwriting for executive speaking engagements at events, conferences, partnering closely with our events team.Elevate the presence and messaging for our executive leadership team. Craft narratives and an executive communications plan that build upon our corporate narrative and positions us as a leader and innovator in the financial services industry.Tailor speeches and communication to appropriate target audiences including clients, investors, employees and the community.QualificationsProven experience in successful executive speechwriting.Strong overall knowledge of the trends impacting the industry.Ability to communicate effectively to an institutional audience.Ability to convey a strong executive tone and capture various executives’ voices.Deep understanding of the financial markets and institutional financial services.Strong business acumen, including the ability to understand complex business topics and translate that information into executive-level messages.Experience in writing in B2B financial services firms.Excellent grammar and communications skills with strong attention to detail.Strong track record of creating larger communications strategies while maintaining an execution-oriented mindset.About State StreetState Street is one of the largest custodian banks, asset managers and asset intelligence companies in the world. $100,000 - $167,500 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
