As a Senior Visual Designer, collaborate closely with our design team creating visuals, compose layouts, develop presentations, and build mockups for digital and physical experiences and communications. Work with senior leaders to communicate their strategies and share their stories both internally and externally. Keep your finger on the pulse of visual design trends and bring a fresh perspective to visual design as an expression of the Cisco brand.
What you’ll do
Solve creative challenges and synthesize content from Cisco IT experiences and translate these experiences into compelling storiesLead high-visibility creative projects to ensure alignment with leaders’ strategic visionCreate stunning layouts with the application of our design languageProvide fresh perspectives on our visual design approach and expressionMentor other designersAdvocate accessibility and inclusive design principlesStay informed of visual and technology trendsWho you’ll work with
A cross-functional team of visual designers, multimedia artists, content designers, product designers, communications specialists, and technology leaders.Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, interaction design or equivalent design-related fieldA minimum of 10 years’ experience in a visual design role, preferably with a large tech company.Have an available online portfolio demonstrating confident visual design skills and storytellingProven experience leading high-visibility creative projects aligned with strategic vision.Strong executive presence and gravitas, able to communicate strategies and stories effectively to senior leaders.Proven experience working directly with senior leadership, specifically VPs or higher.Preferred Requirements
Adept at compelling storytelling through visuals, data, video, and presentationsExperience in a technology or software company.A strong collaborator and leader who can rally others around big ideasGravitas, confidence, and strong executive presenceAn independent, fast worker; somebody who doesn’t let ambiguity slow them downStrong written and verbal skillsWhy Cisco
