Employee must live within 50 miles of an Elevance Health location.Carelon's Product Platforms and Strategy team is looking to hire a Sr UX Designer. As part of our team, this high-performing individual contributor will lead user experience design for our suite of products and applications. Your pivotal role involves shaping digital experiences that impact the lives of millions of patients and healthcare professionals. Apply user-centered design methods to create best-in-class user experiences by translating user needs, business objectives, and technology capabilities.

This position will work in a hybrid way from any US Elevance Health corporate location.How you will make an impact :Lead the end-to-end UX design process, including research and ideation to prototyping and testing.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and other designers to create product requirements and deliver best-in-class user experiences.Conduct user research, analyze user feedback, and iterate on designs to continuously improve usability and user satisfaction.Create wireframes, prototypes, and design specifications to effectively communicate design concepts and interactions.Create journey maps, user personas, user workflows to communicate the ideal experience for existing or potential users.Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in UX design, and advocate for innovative solutions that push the boundaries of healthcare technology.Mentor and provide guidance to junior UX designers.Minimum Requirements:BA/BS in a design discipline and minimum of 10 years' experience, including minimum of 5 years working in a consumer-facing design capacity; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:Master's or PhD preferred.Agile certification strongly preferred.A strong digital portfolio showcasing relevant design processes and outcomes.Proficiency in design tools such as: Axure RP, Figma, or similar.Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and application of insights to inform design decisions.Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate design rationale to stakeholders of all levels.Passion for healthcare and a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in the industry.Can support both Windows and Mac workstations.
