Primary purpose:
Serve as Senior Graphic Designer for major federal contracts and support marketing and business development efforts for Lantana. Develop both digital and print designs including infographics, logos, website content, social media content, power point decks, digital and print ads, visual designs for proposals, photo editing, video creation and editing, and other ad hoc projects for externally facing marketing materials and support of internal programs and campaigns.
A Successful Candidate WillDesign visuals based on requirements, coordinating with teams in the design concept phase.Plan and illustrate concepts by creating rough layouts of designs including arrangement, size, typography, and brand consistency.Lead the editorial review process - Amend designs after feedback and prepare final designs for documents, presentations, web, logos, and other types of digital content presented digitally.Prepare designs, mockups, and artwork in a variety of digital formats in accordance with the Lantana and/or client branding policies and style.Design and develop artwork for industry events.
RequirementsBachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.7+ years of professional experience in a graphic design role, with a focus on branding, marketing, and digital design; design for technical industries preferred, with ability to illustrate technical information through visuals and graphics across several different mediums.Experience in content creation and editing in both photography and video production.A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics available pre-interview.Familiarity with design software and technologies such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop.A keen eye for aesthetics and details.Excellent communication skills.Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.Competency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and PowerPoint.
Preferred QualificationsExperience with a wide variety of design types such as graphic, presentation, and logo design.Experience in WordPress and other website platforms.Experience with Section 508 compliance.Knowledge and/or experience with healthcare or health IT.
