The Shipping Store is an e-commerce company that is dedicated to helping small businesses thrive. We provide affordable shipping and packaging supplies with unique, chic designs that make a great first impression.Position Summary:
The Graphic Designer will handle creating and editing visuals to support all marketing projects and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design and a background in corporate marketing. They must be incredibly open to feedback and have a strong attention to detail.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Create visuals that uphold the vision of the company for all departments.Work independently to manage deliverables for several departments and projects.Create and propose concepts for visually capturing new marketing campaign focuses or stories.Create, edit, and optimize visuals for all marketing channels.Vector-based illustration.Photo retouching, manipulation, color correcting.Video editing.Keep organized archives of all digital files.Collaborate with multi-departmental teams to support project initiatives.Create infographics and presentation materials when required.Timely and accurate dissemination of all creative asset requests.Perform other related duties as assigned.REQUIRED Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Ability to work both independently and as a part of the team.Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent design programs.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficient to expert in Microsoft Office or Google equivalent programs (Sheets, Docs, Word, Excel, etc.).REQUIRED Experience and Education:Bachelor's degree in graphic design or equivalent field.2+ years' experience as a professional graphic artist.Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:E-commerce experience.Experience designing for Amazon store.1+ years' experience as an in-house designer or in marketing.Physical Demands and Work Environment:Regularly operates office equipment, such as laptops, printers, and calculators.May be required to lift to 15 pounds at a time.Frequently required to communicate with others to exchange information.
