Pay rate range - $75/hr. to $78/hr. on W2Looking for a Data Scientist that has Customer Segmentation (Marketing).May act as a liaison with the data team in India, so there may be an opportunity to jump on meetings and work later in the evening.This candidate will work with the Data Analytics team to develop a customer segmentation work stream. This will entail helping the business go deeper into customer insights to understand their key retention and attrition drivers. Sharing those insights back to the marketing team to help the marketing team develop customer retention campaigns.This candidate will be the only person in the world doing what they will do.While they will have people around them who can help give them feedback on the data they are finding, this person will not be joining a team of Data Scientists. This will be a net new scope. Due to this, the team is looking for someone with a lot of experience who can come in from a head-down standpoint and drive on their own with a data team they can leverage and a marketing team they can collaborate with.Yrs Exp:

5-7 yrs minIndustry Preference:If they have retail experience, great, but it is not mandatory.REQUIRED SKILLS:5+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, etc. experienceBachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative fieldExperience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modelingExperience developing and presenting recommendations of new metrics allowing better understanding of the performance of the businessExperience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar toolsExperience with forecasting and statistical analysisExperience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelinesStrong writing, presentation and communication skillsPreferred Skills:Customer lifetime value or Economic value experience would be a plusExperience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and RedshiftExperience in data mining, ETL, etc., and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasetsKnowledge of advanced skills in Excel as well as any data visualization tools like Tableau or similar BI tools (familiarity with Tableau preferred)Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and MatlabExperience in building ML models to solve practical problems
